Green Acres is a real estate website, which advertises properties for sale in France and other countries. Our team participated in creating UI/UX design and in front-end development for the website. The goal was to adapt graphical designs into responsive web-pages using HTML/CSS/JS. Another requirement was to make website compatible with all major web browsers and devices.
Based on desktop pages design that was provided by client, our UI/UX designer created layouts for mobile and tablet devices. To make it more intuitive for smartphone users, navigation and look of some pages were changed to mimic native to smartphones UI patterns. After all the graphical resources were finished, they were turned into pixel perfect web pages by our experienced web developers.
It’s worth mentioning that website is available in a wide range of languages, some of which are right-to-left (RTL). The layouts for these pages were designed and developed with opposite direction of UI elements. It included: changing placement of main UI elements, changing direction of text, and flipping images horizontally. Making RTL adaptation was pretty challenging, but at the same time interesting experience. We are glad that we had chance to work on it. Having such experience is definitely a great asset for our team.
