Attendance Tracking
One of the main features of the app is the ability to track students who are present in the class. This functionality was utilized using BLE Beacons technology. As soon as student walks into a classroom, mobile app locates mounted beacon device and starts tracking presence of the student.
University Feed
Each university has its own feed channel. It is a great tool to distribute important information directly to college students mobile devices. It can be used by students and staff members pretty much for any type of communication: curriculum notifications, tutoring arrangements, announcements, advicing, campus events or rumors discussion. There is anonymous posting option, in case there is some sensitive subject to be brought out.
Admin Panel
To get the most results out of Fletch, universities are provided with very functional admin panel. That is where college staff can manage classes, assign beacons to classrooms, monitor students attendance, and moderate news feed.
