Blablateka – online consultant solution for businesses that are highly dependent on constant communication with customers. The project was initiated in form of website widget back in 2014 and successfully took its share on the market of web consultant solutions. When it came to expanding - Artfulbits team was hired to work on mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
Remote consultant
This platform can fit almost every on-line customer service strategy. Via text messages or audio/video chat it utilizes initial engagement, live consultation, assistance with purchase, guidance, support, and many other aspects. Basically the platform includes two parts. First is front end website widget which is used as a chat module for customers, where they can ask their questions. Second is back office module which works as communication point for administrators and consultants; it is virtual work place for them where they manage customer’s requests and conversations, as well as gather statistics.
Development process
Important role was delegated to Artfulbits team - to develop Android and iOS mobile app for consultants that will extend their flexibility and mobility. In the process of the app development we are trying to achieve balance between functionality and simplicity while following original Blablateka essence in UI/UX. Audio/video chat is the main attribute of the app and is the most complex one at the same time. A lot of efforts need to be put to adjust it due to lack of suitable libraries. As for text messenger, Socket.io library was used which allows real time communication. Back-end already exists and our job is to commute it with the mobile app. The work goes with enthusiasm and confidence, as we see that every day we are getting closer and closer to desired result.

That is whole new level of service relationship between customer and provider.
